Hi-Speed Photos

Hi-Speed was a brand of the Hickock Oil Co. out of Toledo, Ohio.
They were rebranded to Pure around 1950.
The telling feature of their stations was the high column at the
corner of the building with the words HISPEED running vertically down.

This building is a possible former Hi-Speed station in Lansing, Michigan.
Taken in April, 1999 by David Rowlison.
This building has been paneled, so there is no evidence of the Hi-Speed wording
on the column, but Dave said that he has seen similar locations without
paneling, and with the column removed. On those, he noted above the door
in brick he could see the ED letters remaining.
